Does Auto Edit upload my videos?

No. Transcription and the edit analysis run on your iPhone. Your footage is not sent to Auto Edit AI, and there is no account to hold it against.

Can I restore something it removes?

Yes, all of it. Every cut is listed with the reason it was made, and restoring one puts the clip back where it was. The edit is a list of decisions, not a new file — your original recording is never modified.

Can I finish the edit by hand?

Yes. The first cut opens straight into the editor: trim, split, reorder, crop, speed, volume, voice cleanup, text, photo and video overlays, format, captions, and one keyframe per clip.

What counts as an AI edit?

One AI pass over a new recording that completes. Pilot has 90 a month, counted against the App Store subscription month, and unused ones do not roll over. Unlimited has no cap. Editing by hand, running the pass again on the same footage, and exporting never count.

Is Auto Edit AI on the App Store?

Not yet. It runs on an iPhone today and is being prepared for review. There is no download link on this site because there is not yet anything honest to link to.
